For the second year running, Aletheia Trust is delivering its Community Arts Project, led by Marc Dockrell, Deputy Headteacher of St. Botolph’s Church of England School, in collaboration with Martin Brockman from Outdoor Studio Arts (CIC). Building on the success of last year’s initiative, this year’s theme invited pupils to explore The Art of Belonging.

Working with natural materials and inspired by Martin’s creative guidance, children across our primary schools reflected on what it means to feel accepted, valued, and connected. Using wood and found objects from local landscapes, they created expressive, collaborative pieces that celebrate identity, community, and togetherness.

Each school interpreted the theme through their own values and context, resulting in a rich and varied exhibition. Alongside the artwork, pupils contributed poetry and audio recordings, capturing the many voices and perspectives that make up our Trust community.
