Archaeology Mini Dig - A fun & free event

Join us at St Andrew’s Quayside for our fun FREE Mini Dig! Discover the history of the site with our volunteer archaeologists and get hands-on with archaeology through finds handling and artefact sorting activities.

A great opportunity for all ages to uncover the past and learn more about the fascinating heritage of this historic location.

Open to ages 5+  All children must be accompanied by an adult.  11am - 3pm

Please wear sensible outdoor clothing and footwear.

This activity is subject to weather conditions. The safety and comfort of staff, volunteers, and participants are of the utmost importance. In light of the recent hot weather, temperatures will be monitored closely, and activities will be paused or stopped if conditions become too hot to ensure the wellbeing of everyone involved.
