In this workshop with artist, Mona Whitton, you will create your own colourful fabric panel using the traditional Indonesian technique of Batik.
This form of wax resist on fabric will allow you to use your imagination whilst developing your textile design skills.
Suitable for ages 16+
We aim for our workshops to be as inclusive as possible and invite everyone to attend. However, if the participant has additional needs, please contact us in advance via:artsandculture@gravesham.gov.ukso that we can make our facilitators aware.
Photography and Videography will take place at this workshop and the rest of the event on the Pier for future advertising. If we intend to take shots other than completed artwork, backs of heads or hands, then we will always ask you to complete a permission form beforehand. Should you not wish to be photographed at all, please inform the member of staff.
