Black History Month Gravesham 2026 - The Nigerian Experience

Jelosimi Art Centre invites artists, makers, educators, cultural practitioners and creative organisations to lead engaging workshops as part of The Nigerian Experience.

We welcome ideas exploring: Adire & Textiles, Art & Painting, Crafts, Beadwork, Poetry, Storytelling & Folklore, Music & Drumming, Dance, Food & Culinary Heritage, Fashion & Design.

Workshops should be creative, accessible and suitable for children, families, young people or adults.

Don't just tell people about culture, let them experience it!
