Love Around the World – Open Call for Exhibition Artwork

This February we are looking to hold an open call exhibition called ‘Love Around the World’, and we are inviting artists to submit up to 3 pieces of work for consideration.

Love Around the World is an exhibition exploring the different ideas of love including love for family/friends/partner, pets, hobbies, etc and the world around us. How can we love and care for our planet? What does love mean to us?

Submissions can be in 2D or 3D media including but not restricted to painting, drawing, print, photography, collage, upcycling, recycled materials and sculpture, and must reflect the theme of love.  

The exhibition will run at the St George’s Arts Centre from Tuesday 18th February 2025 – Sunday 2nd March 2025.

There will be a small charge of £10 for every piece of work chosen to be part of the exhibition, however, the work can be sold and there will be no commission fee charged.

The deadline date for submissions is Sunday 9th February 2025 11.59pm.

Successful entries will be informed by Tuesday 11th February at the latest and chosen work can be delivered to the St George’s Arts Centre between Tuesday 11th and Sunday 16th February 2025.

Please note, it is the artists' responsibility to ensure all work is delivered ready to be hung. The gallery will not add fixings to the artwork.

It is also the artists’ responsibility to insure their work.

The Gallery is unable to return artwork by post.
