Sunday 8^th February: Jimmy Van Lin

Jimmy is a multi-instrumentalist including Fiddle (Violin), Mandolin, Piano, Keyboard, Tenor Guitar, Tenor Banjo, Octave Violin & Banjolele.

Jimmy has won the Fiddle Naseby Battlefield Bluegrass Award twice in 2017 & 2018 as well as the Single Mic Competition in 2021 and came joint runners up in the London Fiddle Convention Contest in 2016.

On the Mandolin, Jimmy plays Covers, Country, Irish & Folk music and on the violin his styles include: Bluegrass, Country, Gypsy Jazz, Swing, Irish, Folk, Americana, Contemporary, Popular & Romantic music.

Currently playing Violin & Mandolin in his Church Band at Chiltern Church! Also has many years of experience playing Classical music. Grade 8 Violin (Merit) & Piano (Merit) (He lead his Secondary and College Orchestras) & lead the 2nd Violins section at Keele University.
