Welcome to The Butterfly House, a brand-new puppet show by HandMade Theatre.

Gather round and be enchanted by a stunning collection of handcrafted butterfly puppets, made from sustainable materials. Follow the magical transformation from caterpillar to butterfly, discover a kaleidoscope of colourful species, and take a moment to reflect on how we can join together to protect their fragile homes and reconnect with the natural world.

With original live music and a clever technological twist, The Butterfly House is a joyous celebration of nature and transformation, perfect for audiences of all ages!

The Butterfly House (2026) has been commissioned by Applause Rural Touring and follows on from the highly popular show The Puppet Petting Farm (2024).

£3.50pp. Please note both children aged 3+ and adults attending require a ticket. Children ages 2 and under are free.

Please note children under 12 must be accompanied by an appropriate adult throughout.

Please bring along your own chairs and picnic mats (Gazebos are not permitted). As this is an outdoor event, please be prepared for a variety of weather.

Please be aware that Photography/Videography may take place during the performance. Should you not wish to be photographed/videoed at all, please inform the photographer/videographer.
