Unwrapping the Past – Christmas Exhibition

Discover Christmas through the ages this December as we travel back in time from Medieval Britain to present day in our exciting festive exhibition ‘Unwrapping the Past’.

Featuring vintage decorations, toys, photographs and more, join us at the St George’s Arts Centre to learn more about the history of some of our festive traditions, including the origins of the mince pie, and what it means to wassail!

This free self-guided walk-through exhibition runs in-between our ticketed family interactive experience ‘Keepers of the Christmas Magic’, so will therefore only be open on select dates and times between Thursday 10^th – Thursday 24^th December.

Current opening times/dates for ‘Unwrapping the Past’ (the free exhibition) are as follows:

Saturday 12^th                  2pm – 4pm (Closed until 2pm for shows)

Sunday 13^th                    10am – 4pm

Monday 14^th                   Closed all day (Shows only)

Wednesday 16^th             10am – 4pm

Thursday 17^th                     10am – 4pm

Friday 18^th                       10am – 4pm

Saturday 19^th                   1pm – 4pm (Closed until 1pm for shows)

Sunday 20^th                     Closed all day (Shows only)

Monday 21^st                    Closed all day (Shows only)

Tuesday 22^nd                   Closed all day (Shows only)

Wednesday 23^rd              10am – 4pm
