With a talented and experienced technical department, we also have a wide range of facilities available to hire to improve the success of your performance or function. We’re here to advise, it’s what we’re good at.
Community is at the heart of The Woodville, and we welcome the opportunity to host community groups from across Gravesham. We offer a community rate to eligible groups, just download the Community Group Application form and send it our way.
Our Main Auditorium and Studio theatre is available for private hire.

THE AUDITORIUM
Size: L 23.3m x W 21.2m x H 8.2m
The main auditorium is capable of seating 650 patrons across three levels. It also has the flexibility to be transformed into a flat floor space for cabaret performances seating 300 at tables with a further 100 seated in the circle.

THE STUDIO
Size: L 10.9m x W 11.9m x H 3.7m
Beneath the main Auditorium is our hidden gem; The Studio.
This smaller space is used to showcase our more intimate performances, and offers a powerful platform to entertain. The Studio has a flexible format and can accommodate up to 150 seated patrons.

THE BLAKE GALLERY
Size: Curved shape - 56 sq metres
Our Blake Gallery, which is named after British painter and illustrator Sir Peter Blake, is Gravesend’s professional gallery space. It houses wonderfully unique and enlightening exhibitions within The Woodville and is available for hire throughout the year. The Blake Gallery has a maximum occupancy of 30 persons. Share, educate, stimulate, inspire.

THE KENT ROOM
Size: L 14m x W 6.7m x H 2.7m
Our Kent Room is perfect for those smaller ceremonies and celebrations for up to 60 people.
Situated outside of the main Auditorium it provides additional space for larger events or the perfect space for those more intimate occasions. It also benefits from its very own bar meaning you certainly won’t go thirsty.
